(16) Traghetto de San Tomŕ : There are only 3 bridges on the 4 km long Canal grande, gondoliers cross the canal in turns, this is the ‘traghetto’. They wait for the customers in little wooden sheds which are always ornated with flowers. The San Toma traghetto is one of the most beautiful ones with the Pescheria’s.
