Built in the 13th century. The navigator Alvise da Mosto was born in this house. These palaces were both warehouses on the ground floor, registered offices and customer care on the first floor, as well as accomodation above. Imagine vessels full of treasures from the East moored in front of the palaces. The Canal Grande was a port of commerce.
